NMSU professor receives Kellogg grant to help improve lives of Afghan refugees

NMSU professor Rajaa Shindi received a $150,000 W.K. Kellogg Foundation grant to enhance educational and job training for Afghan refugees in southern New Mexico. The project offers free English and computer literacy classes, child care, and CDL training to support refugees’ integration and economic stability.  Read more
