NMSU professor Rajaa Shindi received a $150,00 grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to expand her efforts to support Afghan refugees in southern New Mexico. Partnering with Angela Owens, the project offers free child care, English, and computer literacy classes to help refugees build new lives through education and job training. Read more
